Are We Right for Each Other?
“Are we right for each other?” — a question almost every couple asks themselves at some point. Especially during periods of crisis, conflict, or when routine has replaced passion.
Idealisation and reality
At the beginning of a relationship, being in love helps us see only the best in our partner. Over time, the rose-tinted glasses come off and we face reality — that this person, just like us, is imperfect.
Signs of a healthy relationship
A healthy relationship doesn’t mean the absence of conflict. It means respect, trust, support, space for individuality, and the ability to resolve conflicts constructively. Your partner doesn’t have to be your “other half” — you are already whole. A partner is someone you choose to share your life with.
When to seek help?
If you keep arguing about the same things, if you feel you’ve grown apart, if you’ve been hurt by betrayal, or if you simply don’t know how to move forward — that doesn’t mean it’s over. Psychotherapy helps many couples reconnect or make a clearer decision about their future.
The most important thing is to be honest with yourself and with your partner. And remember — seeking help is not weakness. It’s courage.
